From Micaylas blog to ours....

So what you have to do is leave a comment about the first memory of Phil or me. Specify in the comment who it is about please!?! This is not a tag or anything like that. Just something fun. Here are the rules, stop whining and play along everyone:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, thats fine.

This family likes to P-A-R-T-Y

If there is a reason to celebrate we will take it ALL the way and celebrate as long as possible!! Who can blame us? We have yet to have too much fun and laughter and with all the wonderful friends and family, there is always something fun to do.

We took the kids to Max and Cheese (a childrens resturant) Anyplace who has a motto of "A Kids Cafe--Parents tolerated" is okay in my book. Here is Hannah, Jenica, Carter, Hunter and Carson. They even got to sit at their own table. What big kids!!

I was trying to get a picture of all the kids but there was too much to do at least I got some kids...

I caught a picture of Carter on the run.

Couldn't get them to look but 4 out of 5 of them made the picture!!

This is the only way I could catch Carson. I tried and after 4 days of constant picture taking even he gets tired of it.

Carson waiting to open his gift from the twins, and Holli too!! Thanks guys.

After dinner we went to Scera Pool where we caught up with the Waites and Toones (Paul and Jenn and girls) I didn't get any pics because we were having too much fun. Carson is in heaven when he is in the pool and I think everyone had a great time. Thanks for all those who joined us, we loved it. Thanks for all the gifts, boy this kid is spoiled. (Although if I do say so myself he is worth it!!)

Best Anniversary Gift Ever

Since I haven't been doing too much and have yet to venture too far from home I don't have anything new to blog about but with our anniversary coming up on Sunday, July 13 I have had a chance to think back.
We got married on July 13 2000. I can't believe it has been eight years but I think of all we have done in eight years and can believe we are still putting along. We have had the joy of welcoming Hunter Jenica and my anniversary gift Carson, born on July 14 2006. Someone knew I always wanted a dark haired baby (hence the picture) little did I know it wouldn't last! Here are some highlights....
*Married 8 years
*3 kids in 2002, 2004, 2006. (Didn't plan that but worked out well yes??)
*Have lived in Orem, American Fork, Lehi and now in Pleasant Grove where I don't think we will ever leave.
*Gone from working at Target when I was married to doing what I love working with hospice patients for Applegate.
*Between ALL of us there has been-- 15 surgeries... broken down-- Phil, one. Me, 5. Hunter, 8 and Carson one.
*Over the course of time we have paid over $20,000 out of pocket for medical bills.
*Continuing with at least $250-300 a month in medications and continued care. (That will make you cry!!)
Has it all been worth it? Every moment.

And they are back!

So, the kids came home yesterday! It was so nice to be able to see them. I don't know how I would have survived with them this last week so it was a good thing for them to go and they had so much fun. I can't wait to see the pictures, Grandma Colorado will have them up soon I am told. This morning, I could hear Carson in his room but I hadn't seen him yet. I went up and opened his door and he smiled at me and said, "HI Momma!" He was so excited to see me! Thanks to those who have brought in dinners and entertainment and to mom for helping, well, not helping, doing the cleaning yesterday. But the biggest thanks to Kezie and Pam for watching them and keeping them busy. Its all they can talk about. We will never be able to repay you for this but I hope you know how much it meant to us.
