Carson

Thought I would take a moment to show you Carson's favorite past-time. We do this somewhere between 15-20 times on a good day. It is a toss up between this being his favorite trick or acting like a puppy.........

We are very proud parents.

Hunter

I have to say that I think the best thing to happen was that my mom went out of town while I started this blog. Because I normally just call her and tell her the funny things my kids say and do but since I can't just call her I find I just sit down and write it.

Today we were in the car checking up on everyones houses, getting newspapers and such when Hunter asked if Angie was home because he wanted to go in and see her. I told him that no she wouldn't get home from Hawaii until Sunday with Grandma and Poppy. He quickly replied," Is she going to miss church?" I said, "Yea, she probably will." Hunter then said, "Oh, okay, I won't tell on her." Looks like you're off the hook this week Angie, but don't expect to get away with it again. I think this is a one time offer. Next time he is going to tell on you!!!

Jenica

Anyone who remotely knowes Jenica will not be suprised by this story. I decided it was time to talk the kids today about President Hinckleys passing. In our family because of Phil and my jobs and because of Grandpa the kids are no stranger to death and it is a topic that is easily talked about. We answer a lot a questions, and sometimes they even ask others, thank you Allie for your patience. (My 7 year old neice who talks as openly as my kids.)
Well, aparently Jenica was not happy that I didn't talk to Carson about the Prophet. So, she went and dragged him by the arm (and I mean... dragged) from the kitchen, placed him on the stairs, kneeled down in front of him and had this conversation with him. "The Prophet died but it is okay because he went to live with his wife and Heavenly Father. Its okay to be sad." Carson just got a big smile on his face and said, "Thank you."

She is such a little mommy. What would I do without her.

Guitar Hero

On Saturday night we went to our friends house Andy and Emily to play a little Guitar Hero. It was my first time playing and suffice it to say I was deffinately the worst but I had a great time.

Not as much as Annie and Jason though.....

But if nothing else came out of it, it was a good break for us. The kids got to have a party at home without us and watch a movie and eat popcorn. It was a chance for all of us to have a little fun.

My Snow Bunnies

These guys love the snow and were so happy to make their own little snow man. And what is a snow day without making a snow angel?? They came in with runny noses and soaking wet feet but they were happy kids.

All except for Carson. He had to stay inside and play with mom. It was way to cold out there for him but we had fun playing with his toys inside.
