I am back...sort of!!

Okay I have not posted for a long time and I am sorry. Combo of surgery which I was told yesterday it takes 3 months to recover from.....hummmm and busy lives. Well, Hunter started first grade this Monday and I still am having mother issues with that worrying that he won't be able to open the juice straw that is in his lunchbox or that he won't eat well enough and will be hungry. Phil is graciously telling me to let it go and if he doesn't eat well, he will only do that once or twice and that will be the end of that. By Friday I am doing a little better until I realize that Tuesday starts pre-school and I am going to loose another child for four days a week! But then I stop to think....how easy is one kid going to be?? I can go grocery shopping and have enough hands!! Life is moving on, kids are growing up and I am trying to adapt. Jenica's theme in school this year is "I think I can" I am going to have to make that mine too!!

I can't imagine Jenica saying..."I think I can". It should be "I KNOW I can" or "I'm BRILLIANT" (I've heard her say both!)

Hang in there Marci. You'll be surprised how quickly you adapt, then it will be UEA or holiday breaks and you'll be waiting for school to start up again!

Glad you're back. I've missed you!

Good luck!! That is fun and sad all at the same time. I'm sure that it will get easier. It has to right?

Glad you are back blogging again!

You're going to love it! I promise. Having one to hang out with and enjoy is pretty great (and a lot easier to run errands with, too). With any luck you'll have just enough down time to prepare for that wonderful time of day when everyone comes back home.

I would agree...you will have lots more time...but werid I bet when being with your kids is what you have done for what seems to be such a long time?? At least there is not ever a boring moment...I can't believe they are so big!
