Highland Park

Today on this warm Spring day we decided to go and hang out at the park! It was so fun and the kids enjoyed acutally being able to be outside and not in the snow. We are really looking forward to this next week and the nice warm weather. After the park we were able to go and have lunch with Grandma and Poppy. Thank you for hanging out with us! The kids thought today was the best day in a VERY long time.

My Diagnosis

Here is my (yet another) medical update. So I had an endoscopy today because I was pretty sure I had an ulcer but it wasn't getting better. Anyway, I had the scope and found out that I have a Hiatal Hernia. I also have an inflamed stomache and gastritis. I have been put on medication for the next week to see if things calm down, if not, they will quickly go in and pull the stomache back to where it should be. I plan on it getting better in the next day or so. We can all cross our fingers!

My Son The Beautician

Here are my two boys enjoying playing "Beauty Shop". Some things just make you proud of your boys. I am sure this is one of those moments for Phil. (Probably would have been a better game when they both had hair, but they don't seem to mind)

So, it was time to cut his hair. I figured an ego could get fragile after being called a "cute little girl" after a while but the final straw was today. As I ruffled his hair, out came cereal. The way I look at it, when you can start hiding food in a 2 year olds hair, it is time for a change. After all was said and done, Jenica wouldn't take her eyes off him. She got up next to him and he said "No, no CACA!" It is then, with a huffy breath she exclaimed, "Oh good, he IS the same baby, he just looks different." Can't put anything past that girl.

Carsons Haircut

To the happiness of some and the sadness of others, it came time to cut Carsons hair. Trust me, we get a lot of opinions on this both ways
